I’d say 60% profit is pretty damn good.

I am convinced the 60’s, as tragic as it was with the war going on, was the best decade of my life. We had the best music, the best cars, the best people and the best freedom to love. It could never be recreated. Peace out. ☮️✌️

Your comment about everything is gone hasn’t really happened yet. You’ll have to fade away alone, brother. Tomorrow Never Knows.

Myself and My freind Paul were in our mid twenties………and most were younger than us.I had purshased tickets through a friend in West Hartford Conn.Never used or retained them.
We came from Western Mass. in my VW camper on a route north of Bethel and parked Friday nite in the dark within walking distance of the stage. We were stocked with lots of food.My friend who worked at the Friendly’s plant in Wilbraham Mass allowed me to purhcase 8 carton’s of big beef patties …then lots of rolls and lots of eggs.We fed about
50-60 people on Sat. morning………no one had money.they paid my friend Paul in joints .
I met my younger cousin and her friend Denise. We looked after these young women thru the Saturday till Sunday morning…………….Used the same northern route to escape back home.Crosby Stills and Nash became famous from this concert. My brother……….still a musician did not make it as many others………..At 80 now……….still a once in a lifetime experience…………not to be replicated………..at least by myself.
never made it like many others

I am absolutely agreed Even I am a Chinese Australian. So disappointed the world not as beautiful people now nice as they should as used to be. I often think where the world will heading off and think how small the earth in the universe but the world “ leaders so mad about their power and money and life are short who will overthinking the history make Chang?

But I have older siblings who wanted to go, so I knew about the festival and many of the performers. Even at 6 I was hooked on rock and roll. I listened to the records my brother and sister brought home. They wanted to go, but my parents were not keen on a 14 year old and a 12 year old making their way from San Diego to upstate New York. That’s my recollection of Woodstock. The music has been with me ever since.
